About Us:
National Parts Depot is a national leader in automotive restoration and performance parts. We’re looking for a highly motivated, experienced Full Stack Developer to join our IT team in Ocala, FL.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain custom applications across frontend and backend
• Translate business requirements into functional, efficient solutions
• Write clean, scalable, maintainable code following best practices
• Optimize and troubleshoot existing applications for performance and reliability
• Integrate new systems into our existing architecture
• Collaborate on UI/UX to deliver intuitive, responsive user experiences
• Participate in code reviews and contribute across the full development life cycle
• Develop and deploy new features and tools to improve operations
• Manage Linux-based servers, application deployment, and maintenance

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or custom software engineer
• Strong frontend skills: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Tailwind
• Backend mastery: PHP (Laravel framework), Python, Node.js
• Experience with MySQL, MariaDB, relational DB architecture
• Solid understanding of:
• RESTful APIs, AJAX, JSON, XML integration
• Apache, NGINX - CentOS / Ubuntu server setup, deployment, and maintenance
• Experience with UI/UX principles, responsive design, and frontend usability best practices
• Ability to translate rough ideas or workflows into clean, functional user interfaces
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and critical-thinking abilities
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills with a passion for best practices and a drive to explore new technologies

Bonus Points For:

• Knowledge of VMware, PC (Windows), Foxpro, Networking and Security 
• Ecommerce system experience
• Hardware integration or API-heavy projects

Important:
This is a full-time, on-site role in Ocala, FL. Remote or hybrid work is not available.
