INTRODUCING THE C.A.P. INITIATIVE
CRISIS • AFTERCARE • PREVENTION

When tragedy strikes, families often don't know where to turn. Following a murder, suicide, tragic death, or sudden short-term terminal diagnosis, the immediate response may end long before the family's needs do.
And what about the young people who need guidance, mentoring, and positive alternatives before tragedy occurs?
Through the C.A.P. Community Connection and Service Navigation Initiative, Step By Step is working to strengthen the connections between families, existing community resources, service providers, churches, businesses, and organizations.
We're not trying to replace the services already available. We're working to connect people to them!
Our vision begins in Marion County, with regional outreach and a model that can grow throughout Florida.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND?

✅ Pastors & Ministry Leaders — Discover resources and relationships that can help you better serve your congregation and community.

THE FIVE STEPS TO CONNECTING
I NEED — What information, resources, services, or connections are you seeking?
I OFFER — What products, services, expertise, or resources can you provide?
I CAN HELP — How can you make a difference for someone else?
I CAN SUPPORT — Where can you partner, collaborate, or strengthen your community?
LET'S STAY CONNECTED — Because relationships shouldn't end when the Zoom meeting does!
SIX COUNTIES. ONE CONVERSATION. COUNTLESS POSSIBILITIES.
Whether you're looking for help, offering resources, growing your business, serving families, or seeking opportunities to make a difference, WE WANT TO CONNECT WITH YOU!
