This unique event at the Florida Horse Park begins with an All Breed Parade, presented by Pat Myers Electric, showcasing the many horse breeds within the Ocala Metro. With a wide variety of horse breeds from miniatures horses to giant Clydesdales, this is an event you won’t want to miss! This exciting kick off is followed by an opportunity to meet and greet these various breeds. 

Our Hobby Horse Equestrian Games, presented by Ag-Pro, is a signature event of the CEP’s equine initiative, presented by Pyranha Animal Health. The Games give all ages the chance to learn about a variety of equine disciplines. We provide the rules and practice with top equestrians and then the competition begins...from the safety of a stick horse! 

Kids will have the opportunity to compete in show jumping, racing, barrels, roping, reining, mounted shooting and polo. This year's event is sure to be another day filled with excitement, interest, education, hot competition and FUN! Children will receive ribbons up to 6th place for each event and trophies for reserve and grand champion at the end of day. 

We encourage you to decorate your own stick horse and bring it with you to compete (though we will have a corral where horses can be rented for the day). Awards will also be given for best and worst stick horses! There is no better way to learn all about breeds and horse sports than this.
